I am based in Exeter, Devon, and am inspired to paint pictures of people.
I paint portraits, particularly of older people that are full of history and character. I also observe people in everyday situations – playing together on the beach or conversing in cafes or as individuals waiting alone for busses and trains. I am on a journey – exploring the many different ways of these moments can be captured in paint. I work mainly in oils but also with print and have lately been experimenting with acrylics.
I welcome commissions and would be very happy to discuss this with you.
Recently I had a sole exhibition of my work at Cartridges Law and am opening my studio as part of Devon Open Studios 2019.
Most of the work shown here is available either an original from £100-500 or as a mounted print from £20-150. Please ask me for more information and you are welcome to visit by arrangement.
